The AllModern Presidents’ Day sale is here and it’s a great time to get a few pieces at a discount. For these three vignettes, we focused on some of our favorites items. We want to show you some of our favorite products that would look great in any home, with any design style.
Decor & Styling for a Cozy, Modern Nightstand
We have been so impressed by this green marble decorative tray (listed as a cutting board!), that we actually bought a set for the other bedrooms, too. Small bowls, trays or trinket dishes for personal items are an important nightstand item - especially for a guest room. To make this space feel extra cozy and inviting, we added cotton pendent lights - we love that a hanging light frees up valuable space on top of a nightstand, and the ribbed cotton shade creates another layer of texture. Between the warm lighting, and Stephen's growing collection of books, we think our guests will feel right at home.
The Best Work From Home Setup - for Productivity and Vibes
When we’re in Boston, we have a dedicated home office space on our recently finished 3rd floor. But in Maine, we find ourselves working on the couch or at the dining room table. Since we’ve set up this desk space in the loft, it feels nice to be able to spread out our sticky notes and to-do lists, and have a place to hide it all away at the end of the day. We also like that the slim profile doesn't take too much space away from the loft, or interfere much with the mural wall. The chrome desk lamp might be our favorite new addition - great downward lighting for working at night, too!
A Mid-Century Bookshelf for our Living Room & Our Plants
You may have noticed that we have a lot of plants....like a ton. So, any additional open shelving space is appreciated! We added this mid-century, solid wood piece to our living room and we are loving how it came together. The other shelves in our living room are filled with more decorative items, but this is the shelf we fill with things we're using every day - music, favorite books, and lamps. The shelf unit is solid wood and the boomerang shape is both a focal point and a way to create some negative space. We also need to give a shout out to this adorable little lamp - which comes in a bunch of colors - it's petite but packs a punch with its funky style and glow.
