Our Cold Brew Recipe

We drink a LOT of Cold Brew.

This is how we make about 14 Liters of Cold Brew Concentrate every week and a half - give or take. After the initial startup cost we have significantly cut our weekly coffee budget.

// What you need

// Instructions

  • Add your filter to your bucket, we drape ours over the sides

  • Add 5lbs of coffee

  • Pour over 14 liters of chilled filtered water (although tap is likely fine)

  • Stir to make sure there are no pockets of dry coffee grounds

  • Store at room temperature for 20 hours

Your Cold Brew Concentrate is done! Dilute 1 part concentrate with 1 part water and enjoy on ice.

Cold Brew has a shelf life (even in the fridge) so we keep a few days worth in a pitcher, and freeze the rest! Each batch lasts us just over a week or so (yes, we know we have a problem).
