Holiday Wishes with AllModern
Somehow, the season has crept up on us again - holiday playlists are back, our calendars are filling fast, and it’s officially time to dive into hosting and Christmas décor. This is the moment when our homes start to shift: layers get cozier, lights get warmer, and familiar traditions find their way out of storage. Whether you’re setting the stage for a full house or simply creating a festive corner to enjoy on quiet nights, now’s the perfect time to infuse your spaces with a little holiday magic.

As you likely already know, AllModern is one of our favorite partners, and this year they have a ton of new holiday décor options.
Starting With The Greenery
We started with this artificial tree for our dining room because it is on the more narrow side, leaving plenty of room to navigate around the dining room table. It also happens to have more space between the branches - a look we were specifically looking for. It was very easy to assemble, and looks great too. Bonus: the bulb color temperature is great, nice and warm.
The real standout is this pine garland we put over the fireplace. There is something about it that we just love, a departure from some of the very full garland pieces we have used in the past. It may just be how amazing it looks paired with the paper ornaments… but much more on that later.
The final duo is this artificial wreath and garland that we used on our sideboard. It is a holiday staple and a great foundation to style in any way that you would like.
Paper Ornaments and Decor
One of the largest standouts from this holidays haul were the variety of paper decorations! While perusing the AllModern site, we are initially attracted to the idea that they were collapsable — you can get some really large ornaments (6”-12”!) that totally flat-pack when the season is over. We really fell in love with all the Jewel Tone Accordion Christmas Trees that look so whimsical against our stone fireplace, paired with the smaller scale Decorative Paper Folding Honeycomb Ornaments. These are all sure to be holidays staples in out 70s cabin moving forward.
The Vintage Ceramic Christmas Tree
There is nothing more nostalgic than the ceramic Christmas tree. We have three vintage ones in Boston, and this summer we found two more on the side of the road here in Maine (we never turned the car around so fast in our lives.) So when we found this new LED ceramic tree, we needed to see it in person - and it doesn’t disappoint.
